Frank Ross
began his long relationship with Gary Davis in 1990. His work in the Tahoe-Truckee area has gained him an exceptional reputation among his peers and within the construction community as a leader in regional residential design. He offers the benefits of extensive experience over 25 years of design and construction. Frank’s diversified experience includes the design of worldwide large-scale heavy industrial and commercial facilities during his tenure with Kaiser Engineers of Oakland, California. He has been a licensed general contractor since 1978, having owned and operated a highly successful Bay Area design/build construction firm prior to moving to the Tahoe area in 1984.
Frank is a
member of US Green Building Council, the American
Institute of Architects and the newly founded Sierra
Green Building Association. He is a proponent of sustainable
design, and spearheads efforts at Gary Davis Group to bring
green building practices into the residential arena. The
Contractors’ Association of Truckee-Tahoe is proud to have
him serve on the Board of Directors. Frank has traveled
extensively throughout the US and Europe studying architecture
and resides in a home he built for his family in the spectacular
northern Martis Valley. He’s an avid skier on water or snow and
enjoys traveling and camping with his family. Among many very
successful projects, Frank is responsible for all three phases
of design for the beautiful Sugar Bowl Chalet Townhomes.
