In 1992 after working for another company in the Tahoe Basin for 5 years, Gary Davis, P.E. began his own firm. Prior to working at Lake Tahoe he was in the San Francisco Bay area which giving him over two decades of experience as an engineer.
While his training in heavy construction and civil engineering began with the U.S. Army Engineer Battalion in 1966 building airbase support facilities and roads in Vietnam and Thailand, he is continually furthering his education by attending seminars and conferences such as the California Tahoe Conservancy, and the SEAOCC - Structural Engineering Association of Central California recently held in Squaw Valley.
Gary graduated from San Jose State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineer in both California and Nevada and has held a California Contractor's license for many years.
In the many years that Mr. Davis has worked in the Lake Tahoe area he has established an exceptional working relationship with the assorted permitting and reviewing agencies, such as:
