Michael Lefrancois
is a University of Vermont graduate who moved out west seeking
bigger mountains and deeper snow in addition to broadening his
work experience. His civil engineering practice has taken him
from major highway and utility infrastructure in the eastern US,
through public works small commercial projects in the Santa Cruz
region to his current work over the last several years on a wide
spectrum of projects in the northern Sierra Nevada. With Gary
Davis Group Michael has great success in working with state and
local agencies for very complicated projects in both California
and Nevada.
As a LEED certified professional, Michael is proud to have
provided civil engineering for the 45,000 square foot Tahoe
Center for Environmental Sciences which completed in 2005 was
one of only 26 facilities in the world to achieve LEED Platinum
certification. His professional associations include Tahoe
Truckee Engineers Association, North Tahoe Business Association,
and the Sierra Green Building Association.
Michael is a resident of Kings Beach, CA and enjoys the Lake
Tahoe region for its slow pace and quality of life. He spends
his free time outdoors on skis, biking, fishing, camping and
enjoying music. Michael also volunteers much time with local
groups including and Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue Team.
