The design stems from the owners’ desire to blend the historic mining aesthetic of Park City with their current living situation in San Francisco - a simple, one-story, one-room, 1600 sf Baptist Church (ca. 1900). This home is just that. The main floor contains only the living space and the kitchen. Stairs lead up to an office loft that has fabulous views of Park City’s ski runs, Historic Main Street, and all the historic church steeples. Douglas Fir post & beam structure and board-formed concrete reflect the mining era. Colorful rolling doors and a wine cellar that shares a wall of backlit stacked rock with the powder room are two of the unique features on the lower level. A LCD glass door leads to the Powder Room.
